James Shearer

James focuses mainly on sculptural work, using material, form and colour to explore issues of mental health and self perception, and the way we recognise and remember the emotional and physical responses.

Having spent the last 25 years designing and creating 3 dimensional works with artists internationally, James uses a wide range of skills and knowledge about both materials and composition to create work in a variety of styles and using techniques from hand forming to CNC machining.
