Ben Wilson

Ben Wilson is an artist from the North West of England. Working predominantly as a painter, the  foundational notes within Wilson’s practice, are centred around ideas of comfort, desire and coping. These themes are often expressed through a combination of his use of nostalgic, personal and mundane acts.

Textural and tonal exaggeration through a contrast in bold figurative marks and sensitive blending of paint then focus his exploration. With a quality of familiarity and playfulness, Wilson invites and encourages an intellect around such ideas.
