My current work mainly reflects a strong nostalgia and fascination with my Scottish roots. There are perhaps two radically different ideas about landscape - small scale and suburban versus wild and monumental. During Lockdown I made a number of I-Pad drawings of two types - outdoor mini landscapes and indoor object compositions using my I-Pad, and with the restriction of only one tool - a shape-maker and my finger. I have also began a series of large Art Cloths using Appliqué and applied photographs to explore significant stages in my family history and my relationship to the Scottish Highland landscapes I visited as a child.
